Is the carrying handle included?

Been watching some of the YouTube reviews that recently popped up and many of them show the desktop with the carrying handle on the case.

I just poked around on my pre-order and the handle doesn’t seem to be an option that can be selected.

Is it included by default now? Or is the option missing?

Was wondering exactly the same. The FW Desktop page still says “coming soon” and the parts shop does not list it at all.

If the pen situation with the FW12 is any indicator it might not be included.

Still hopeful, as it must be much cheaper than the FW12 pen… optimistically they give us a nice surprise… but even if it’s much cheaper - no way to include it if they can’t get it mass produced yet.

Batch10 anyway… so will find out long before I actually get it.

I don’t think it will be included, atleast that is how it was advertised when they released the desktops. Reviewers usually get the “review kit” with extra stuff.

Of course it would be a nice surprise if the handle would be included

I don’t particularly mind if it’s not included by default, I do think it needs to be an available option to select though, even as an extra…

It’d be bad if it were shown often on promo YouTube vids but not something you could actually get…

Pretty sure it will be listed. Once they’ve set up production and everything. Also that they have included it for several reviewers is a very good indication that they are working to bring it to market.

I’m a little unreasonably excited about buying the handle when I does become available :slight_smile: I can’t give a reason why I need it, but just that I think a handle suits it.

I asked support since I was curious as well. No, it does not come with the handle. They are not yet available.

You could always 3D print one. Seems they have an STL on the hardware Github Framework-Desktop/Case at main · FrameworkComputer/Framework-Desktop · GitHub
Having a 3D print, you could possibly make a cast and perhaps make one out of Aluminium or if you use a thick print, just settle for that.
