Here, I’ve seen many DIY projects that are super interesting and especially the ones where people have been using a mainboard to build a handheld gaming console, a tablet, a NAS, etc…
It is fantastic but the only problem is that it’s always projects made by the community and that are quite complicated for customers to replicate if they don’t have the skills or 3D printer etc…
I would love that Framework sells hardware kits where you just have to place your mainboard in (with a bit of software tinkering ofc) somewhere and you can have a NAS, tablet, handheld gaming console, etc… Something clean, that works well.
It would be especially good for people who don’t have the skills to do the projects that some very talented people from the community have been doing. But also for the people that don’t have time to go deep in tinkering…
To have a plug & play solution to do something useful & clean with your old mainboard when you to upgrade to a new one would be more than amazing !
