It happend to me already multiple times that I am working with my laptop, then stopping for few minutes, laptop goes to sleep, and then when I try to start working again I turn the screen on and when I unlock the laptop I notice that all the programs have been closed, as if the laptop restarted.
The browser that was open indeed asks me to restore the web pages that were open before this event occurred.
My laptop:
Framework Laptop 13 (AMD Ryzen 7040Series), Processor AMD Ryzen 5 7640U, with Windows 11 Home, Version 10.0.22631 Build 22631, the Batch was #2.
Can´t say. I stopped using windows so didn’t test it on my FW16.
Eventually someone else will chime in. Check also on the others having had issues with their laptops restarting while in sleep.
Windows 11’s default is to use S0 connected standby. This means updates and other things will try to update if connected to power.
You should switch to S0 disconnected standby as the solution. Also go into device manage and under your wifi network adapter, under the power tab in properties ensure that the wifi card is not allowed to wake the device. These two things should keep your laptop sleeping or hibernating when you tell it to.
