Mux Position while on battery

Hey all. Just noticed today that on my 16 with the amd graphics module it is always on dgpu whether it’s plugged in or on battery. This happens regardless of power profile or the selected “gaming experience” in amd adrenaline.

The only time the mux position switches to the APU is when ai use a USB C dock and plug it in to a USB C on the side for connecting two additional monitors.

Any ideas why it would default to the dgpu while on battery and not running any programs that would use it?
