No mouse cursor when in BIOS

I asked this as a subsidiary question before but thought it warrants its own post.

When I go into the BIOS using F2 at boot, there is no mouse cursor or trackpad support. I have to use tab and arrow keys to move around. PS2 mouse emulation is on Auto in the BIOS. Is it normal? Is it not possible to use the trackpad to navigate the BIOS? There is no specific mention in @jeshikat’s Bios Guide.

It’s not possible to navigate the UEFI Setup pages using the trackpad, no. :smile:

Thanks, @DHowett, that’s a shame. My old Dell could do that. It had a much more modern looking BIOS than the Framework’s. But, at least, I know now that mine isn’t having a problem.
