Hey, I received my Laptop 12 a couple of days ago, I installed Win 11, and the drivers, I didn’t need to update the BIOS. However, yesterday I started to experience the brightness control buttons not working (before it was ok). The key presses are registered (the brightness scale comes up), but the brightness is not getting changed. Changing the brightness in the taskbar works.
Has anyone experienced this? What can I do?
After a couple of restarts the problem is gone. I’ll report back if it resurfaces.
The problem resurfaced again. After a couple of power cycles it is still present. Restarts and power cycles are not obvious solutions to this problem.
The issue is NOT RESOLVED.
Problems like this can be very difficult to diagnose on windows. What I would suggest is reinstalling the Framework driver pack. It is possible that an update compromised the configuration of one of those specific drivers and reinstalling it would force it to be correct again.
