It will be designed with an x8 PCIe G4 interface. Seems like it might be a good target for the expansion bay.

yep, nvidia will not let people put desktop gpus in mobile form factors anyway

Heck, Iā€™d be keen for AMD. Way better Linux compatibility, which is something Framework take more seriously than most.

That may be one of the intentions. But some folks, like me, may enjoy having a desktop class GPU in the expansion bay, knowing that most of the time when we will use a GPU is when we are on power.

@Chris_Browning NVIDIA and AMD prohibit using desktop-class GPUs in laptops.
