I want to buy a new laptop but usually being able to flash coreboot is a prerequisite for me. I know Frameworks don’t currently support running coreboot (well, aside from the Chromebook edition which I would’ve bought were it still available). But when coreboot works and is supported, will Framework provide a way to disable BootGuard on previous mainboards (if that’s at all possible) or will I have to buy a new mainboard when the time comes? Alternatively, is there a way to ask Framework for such a BootGuard-disabled mainboard?
