Quality Control - Heatsinks

So I got two 165H main boards today, and both heatsinks looked like the following. I was able to easily bend them back straight, however this really shouldn’t be bent right out of the box…

Has anyone else experience this?

Seen a few similar photos on this forum over the years. The packaging design around the fins could use some work.

Hopefully it’s not too common. I’ve seen pictures posted a few times, not often, though. Even one person saying that they were contacting support to get a replacement. Seemingly unwilling to just bend the fins back straight.

But yeah, packaging should really be made to take anything commonly thrown at it. Fins I wouldn’t care too much about. I would more care that it shows that impacts reached my new motherboard. Who knows what hidden damage could have been done. Maybe the board got bent enough to crack a solder joint. Which may work initially but cause problems down the line.
