I’m using a Microsoft Surface Pen “Model 1776” a.k.a. “Ver.4” a.k.a “Surface Pen with no clip” and it works fine:
The same unfortunately cannot be said for my FW12’s lid sensor 
(Yes I have tried re-seating that cable; yes I have installed all the drivers; yes I have a thread open with Support lol)
