I recently repurposed some framework 13 parts into a handheld gaming device. It’s still a work in progress, but it does work pretty well. I installed CachyOS handheld edition, and modified the gamesir G8 with 3d printed parts I found on thingiverse.
Unfortunately, the balance is not great; the battery makes it top heavy. I need to make some bezels to help protect the screen and components, and maybe add some rigidity.
Currently running on the first Gen Intel i5-1135g7 mainboard, so updating to the latest AMD board would likely enable a better gaming experience, but games like brotato work great, and that’s good enough for now.
