Screen Goes Black When Using Blender 4.2 And Other Apps On Windows 11 Pro

Whenever I try to run certain apps, my screen goes black. My OS is Windows 11 Pro 23H2 with current updates. I have fiddled with the settings in the AMD Adrenilin Edition Software, but to not avail. Do you have any suggestions?

assuming you have the dgpu: wonder if the mux switch is trying to switch and failing for some reason. it will typically switch when more graphically intensive apps launch (videogames for example)

is there a toggle in the amd adrenalin edition settings to disable mux switching? i think there was but i cant remember. if so, maybe disabling it would help (again, assuming you have the dgpu). if disabling it does help, that shouldnt be happening (mux switching should just work with a freeze on the last frame from the igpu that takes under a second, rather than a black screen) and you should probably contact framework support directly

I just had the same issue.
It got fixed after I reinstalled the interposer.
