Setting F-keys as default instead of FN keys

I got a new Framework 13 Ryzen AI300 laptop and am currently setting up arch on it.

I could not find an option in the uefi to switch the FN key behaviour.

If i press F2 key, the volume is decreased instead of an F2 key press. For that I would need to press F2+FN. I would like to have this toggled, so I have to press FN+F2 for volume decrease.

Only thing I found was how to toggle ctrl and fn key.

Toggle fn lock by pressing fn+Escape. The mode you set it to will be remembered across reboots.

Thanks, didn’t know what fn lock means.

Thank you very much for this! I’ve been banging my head over this … and a google search actually paid off!
