SOLDSOLDSOLDSOLDSOLD
I was considering upgrading piecemeal to get to a Framework 13 Pro while keeping my mainboard, but I think it’s probably time to get a little more processing power and unfortunately that means my SODIMM modules won’t be able to come with me. I’m betting that it’s actually more economical to sell my Framework 13 and start fresh.
I recently got the new Pro Touchscreen and installed it, and I’m including it here. I rarely use the touchscreen but it’s more color accurate out of the box. I can include the ICC profile I calibrated for this panel for the buyer.
The major catch: My input cover features the clear keys, which I thought were totally rad at the time but after all the time I’ve used it I still have no idea which of my function keys do what. Zero clue. Looks cool though.
I’m trying not to gouge for the RAM, and my main goal is to avoid waste (the whole point of the frameworks). my asking-price math is something like:
Right now, speccing out the equivalent machine with an AI 5 340 would cost $1850 before tax
This machine originally cost $1050 for the FW13, $150 for the RAM (can you believe it), $125 for the SSD, $299 for the display upgrade = $1624 before tax
I’m asking $1200. That’s like $600 of computer with $600 of RAM.
