[Solved] - Framework 13 doesn't boot with Intel Wi-Fi card installed

Hello! Recently tried swapping my Mediatek WiFi card for an Intel BE1750x, but the laptop wouldn’t boot with it installed (black screen, no HDMI output but power button and keyboard light up). When I reinstalled the Mediatek card it started right up.

Any clues? Secure boot is off and I tried resetting the mainboard.

  • NixOS 26.05 (Yarara)
  • AMD 7040u

This is not AMD compatible.

Correct as the other poster said, that card will not work with AMD boards. Swap in the Intel AX210 and it will work just fine.
