Sound problem with an external monitor + HDMI on laptop 12

Hello,
I have a sound problem when I connect an external monitor : on a regular basis, I would say about every 5 minutes (but it’s random, it’s not exactly every 5 minutes), the sound suddenly drops and then comes back up again for about 1 second.

This only happens with Framework (I’ve tried the same files and software on other computers).

I don’t know how to diagnose this or how to fix the problem. It’s very annoying when watching a movie, for example: the image is fine, but the sound drops out quite frequently (about 10-15 times per hour). Could it be the expansion card? I only have one (HDMI).

It’s only when the sound in on the monitor, never when it’s on the speakers.
