Spacer Size Key Column

As a Developer I use some keys like Pos1, End, PageUp, PageDown, Print (for Screenshots), all F Keys on a daily basis. They are available on the main keyboard. But they often require a two hand key combination with fn on the left and cursor on the right. Using the F Keys as a primary, the media keys are harder to reach.

I don’t use the num pad to keep my keys in the middle of the laptop. So I have two spacer sized places available. It would be nice to have an additional column of keys, with some space to the main key board, on each side. Or two rows.

I would like to have on the right side from top to bottom print, pos1, pageUp, pageDown, end, contextMenu, and on the left side: more brightness, less brightness, louder, quiter, mute, keyboard brightness.

My current laptop has a very similar key column on the right.

The rgb Macropad doesn’t work for me. It moves the main keyboard to a side and the keys have a different style.

for me too, tough i’d also like to see the F13 to F24 keys. They are commonly missed but supported in almost all programs, so are a great option for hotkeys. That would also set the framework laptop appart from any other laptop (or even keyboard). I’ve not seen these keys anywhere for the past 2 decades

More F-keys would be fine for me too. Its a more general approach, easy to use for the key mapping and I don’t have to think about how to paint the key names on the caps.

I’m using my spacer space to store sticky notes right now but I’d spring for a few keys over there. probably some of the more cumbersome shortcuts like desktop ← →. Being ota reprogrammable (qmk/zmk/via/vial) or having a really easy reset switch is a must for me. I’d like eventually to have the spacer in the middle of a split keyboard made from one-keys but that can’t be scheduled right now
