Storage Expansion Card Not Recognized on Different Machine

I have a swollen battery on my Framework machine and so I wanted to use another laptop that I have while getting the battery replaced. When I pulled the 1TB storage expansion card from my Framework machine and plug it into my other laptop, (Lenovo, Windows 11 Pro) fails to recognize the drive and throws up a message saying it’s corrupt. If I put the card back in the Framework machine and connect to power, I can see there’s nothing wrong with the card and it works fine.

Is there some external driver I need to get a different machine to recognize the storage expansion card?

Edit: there’s nothing in the Windows system or application logs related to the expansion drive when plugged in. Device manager shows no missing drivers.

More info needed. What OS is your Framework running? What file-system did you format on the expansion card? Did you encrypt it?

Framework is running the same OS as the other machine - Windows 11 Pro. The drive is formatted exFat and not encrypted.
