I have had the Framework 16 for around a year, and I am thinking of switching to the 13 AMD, mostly for portability. Thoughts and comparisons? I use Linux and play games, but I don’t need the best graphics.
FW13 + AMD 7840u + 61WH battery can handle a LOT of what you’d need. The Ryzen AI series (particularly the high end one whose name eludes me) is a much more powerful board, but at the cost of inferior integrated graphics. 7840u on the other hand is a great all-rounder. Does just about everything at least decently. Better battery life than the older Intel offerings, although I don’t know how it stacks up compared to Core Ultra.
Plus the 13 is actually receiving some level of updates/developments compared to the 16, but I won’t speak much of that.
