“Something big” just improved.
For it to “got better”, it’d have to have been something already.
The Framework 16 is big and already exists.
So what’s with the dots?
13 (7), (7) 13? If they’re bits, that’s 8191 (127).
You could almost fit a 13" diagonal screen next to a 7" screen on a FW16. Dimensions don’t quite seem right. That’d be pretty weird.
I don’t think I can make PCIe lanes add up.
If I subtract 7 from 13, I get 6. Which, uh…
My numerological impulses are failing me.
Wait, wait, there are six ports. Seven, counting the USB-C displayport. So maybe the announcement is a USB-4 hub on the back of the Framework 16. Eh? It’s got plausibility. That’s a pretty good speculological acrobatic.
I found something interesting, if you divide 197 by 13 you get 15 (plus some guffy numbers: 15.1538461538) and if you divide 197 by 7 and then minus 13 from that you ALSO get 15 (plus some guffy numbers: 15.1428571429)!
In ASCII tables the character at octal 015 is CR, or Carriage Return, aka ENTER!
On the 26th of August Framework will ENTER that Youtube video and show us Half life 3! Probably on a Framework desktop or something, I don’t know, maybe.
Y’all can’t read, they clearly said Something Big.
Can you see that? BIG
In a previous event, they mentioned they keep a spot open on their long term roadmap for a Framework Tractor. They are clearly announcing their first 5 ton model.
This is great. I never thought Nvidia would deign to do anything good for anyone. I’m genuinely impressed Framework pulled that off. (though, I mean, it’s 8 GB so that’s at least on brand…)
Fan improvements, a new motherboard, power through the expansion bay, direct-to-internal-display mux, 240W charger, outstanding.
