Presumably this bug will affect Framework’s officially supported distros if they upgrade their official upower packages to >=1.90.8 before this upower issue gets fixed? I had a quick look and I think Ubuntu 24.04 & Fedora 41 both ship earlier versions?
The GitLab discussion has some mention of the specifics of how Framework’s firmware handles charge thresholds & how that might affect how the the fix for the upower issue needs to be implemented. Maybe Framework engineers can share knowledge on the GitLab issue to ensure a solid fix?
