Well I must say that I had a rather pleasant and totally unexpected response when I recently contacted Framework about a keyboard on a computer long out of warranty. The reason I contacted them was because Framework found out that the high keyboard failure rate was due to a manufacturing defect.
I did have to provide a video and answer a lot of questions but in the end they decided to make an exception and sent me a replacement keyboard cover.
Kudos to Framework for doing the right thing!
BTW, I did replace two(?) keyboards with my own money because of failures that were out of warranty. This last one had only two dud keys and I managed to work around them for quite a while.
