Looking to upgrade soon but wondering if there are any issues.
The compatibility chart still lists 25.10..

So far, kernel 7.0 has been a really good place to be for AMD users. More fixes for amdgpu and the Mediatek drivers are included. There could be some regressions that I haven’t had a chance to run into yet because we’ve been quite busy with getting the Framework Laptop 13 Pro ready for everyone.
The one thing that does come to mind immediately is that you should absolutely keep the Firmware Updater app that comes preinstalled or use the Snap version of fwupd for updates from LVFS. The version of fwupd that is included in the apt repos tends to lag behind a bit on version. The Snap versions get updates faster and I can say we have tested them internally.
Thank you, that sounds promising!
By preinstalled you mean the one that comes with a fresh 26.04 install?
I prefer not to update my Ubuntu distro via their updater just do a clean install of the new version.

I prefer to stay away from snap in favor of flatpak. Is the fwupd from flathub ok to use?
btw I just discovered that Framework is sponsoring LVFS/fwupd. Thank you for doing that! ![]()
