I’m a total novice when it comes to how something like this would be implemented, but I still want to make my case. I recently had an instance where I had to run diagnostics on a Thinkpad and I ended up using the embeded UEFI tool that’s built into the firmware. It was a very convenient way to understand the inner workings of my system without a working OS install.
Again, total novice, but as far as I’m aware there isn’t anything like this on the Framework laptop. Maybe there’s extra costs associated with this kind of thing I’m not considering but I would love to see this feature implemented in future iterations to better improve the servicability and longevity of these devices!
