Ended up getting a better deal on a Lenovo and no longer plan on keeping my framework laptop pro 13 preorder. I had 64Gb Ram and it got downgraded to 32Gb Ram still at the original price. Not really looking to make much of a profit here just looking to hel the somebody get 32Gb at the og prices.

if that’s pre-order, just cancel it and you got your $100 back.

OP is suggesting they are selling the pre-order for somebody to secure the lower price on RAM, not to recover their costs or make a profit. Just to clarify things.
Although I too think it’s just simpler to cancel the pre-order. Safer too since the laptop isn’t “in-hand”.

the price they are asking for is $3k but the listing says ~$2.7k so it does seem like a little profit.

It’s just under $3k after taxes, see the 2nd screenshot for the total amount.

As I know, it’s not possible to change address in pre-order (considered as scam maybe?), so it’s like would require to re-sending with difficulties to forward warranty cases, etc…
Maybe he is just trying to get a buyer for when the computer is ready to deliver? As for the price, the current price for a similar setup is hundreds of dollars more. I suppose that is a good savings if you want the Intel chipset. Nice of him to offer it on here. But I am just waiting for the pro chassis to come available, as I already have the Ryzen 9 in a regular chassis.
