I’m seriously looking to purchase a Laptop 13 (the Intel Ultra option) and would like to source my own memory.
I’m after a matched pair of Adata AD5S560032G-BFW 32GB DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM modules. Framework supports these.
I cannot find anywhere that has them available.
Does anyone know a supplier please ?
I’m based in the UK, but anywhere in the EU would also be ok.
Many thanks,
Stuart.
It seems some manufactures are easier to find than others.
I got the crucial ram here in the UK.
Make sure you get the exact right ram from the FW published compatability list.
Hi James3, thanks for that.
Yes, I used Framework’s approved memory list.
There is only one fully approved 32GB sim on that list - the Adata sim. This is the item:
ADATA AD5S560032G-BFW 32GB DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM
OK - Full Validation.
So, I Googled using the part number “AD5S560032G-BFW”.
Not even one 100% match !
I found Adata’s website, and located the page dealing with 5600 memory:
This lists the sim part numbers as follows:
AD5S560032G-S Single Tray EAN number 4711085941114
AD5S560032G-DT Dual Tray EAN number 4711085943545
The dual tray code is for a matched pair of sims.
These do return Google hits, so I’ll do some more research.
Cheers.
