Currently I’m saving up money for a frameworm 12 gen 2 cause the screen and CPU are both undesirable and since I alr have a spare 2230 SSD and 16gb of DDR5 ram I just have to price guess it
Firstly the confiq
There has been a forum post about a Gen 2 board upgrade
The list of CPU was Ryzen AI 330, Ryzen AI 340, Intel 338H (Which after some dissucion with other people seem impossiable), Intel 322 and I’m not even gonna mention the AI 400 seris cause it’s a useless generation made to confuse people
out of all the CPU option I’m actually wating for a Intel 325 4 Xe cores and 4 P cores
Though to extend my 338H point
We haven’t gotten any results oh this CPU yet We don;t know if it’s runned hot We don’t know if it will throttle We don’t know if framework will make a new Chasis and fan design
It would be intresting to see how this CPU is dealt with because currently it sits no where at the position it’s in in my opinion
Now I would also consider the potential of a Screen upgrade
Based on the 13’s upgrade it would be 4000 NTD
and just price guessing the 322’s upgrade path and how framework would like to price this laptop prob 25,000 NTD
and if their gonna get a 325 on it
I would guess 30,000 NTD Just like the current upgrade path on the framework 12
What would you think of this though and do you even care about the framework 12 ?
