Windows 11 WiFi drivers 2.06 not working

Windows 1L, Laptop 16, AMD 7040 Series, AMD Radeon™ RX 7700S

I dual boot windows 10 and linux, and decided to upgrade to windows 11 since 10 is EOL next month, and I need it for school. I removed my linux ssd, did the windows 11 install, did the oobe/bypassnro to get around the internet requirement, made a local account, and tried installing the newest set of drivers which were 2.06 as of when I did it. The install completes just fine, but I cannot connect to wifi. The option isn’t there; it’s like the driver didn’t install at all. I have tried to install it multiple times with no results.

I have installed the driver version 2.04 instead, and it works. Must be some issue with driver package 2.06.

Are you using the driver bundle from here? Any error messages?

Yes I did, and none that I could tell. I just restarted and there was still no WiFi. I almost wonder if the internet driver was just not included, so since I didn’t have any drivers installed at all it just didn’t work. I have since upgraded from 2.04 to 2.06 and it worked fine.

Quick Question. I’m having a similar issue to yours just with a Laptop 13 instead of 16. Where can I find the 2.04 bundle as I can only find the 2.06 bundle and I can’t connect to Wi-Fi?

On the framework forum, the site we are on now, just search “drivers” and it should be one of the results. There is also a 2.05 driver that may work. After you get it working I would recommend running the 2.06 diver in addition, so you have the most up to date drivers.

2.05 worked thanks man

Hey guys… we’ve identified the issue and are working on an update.
