Extra Notes/Desc: This board died after I attempted to use a TB3 eGPU on it through an NVME to TB3 adapter paired with an NVME to PCIe adapter. I tried to run a Gigabyte RTX 3070 on it. All other cards I had in my collection worked perfectly, except the card I wanted to run (the 3070; cards tested were an OEM NVIDIA Quadro K4000, MSi GT 710, and a Dell R5 240) It worked a total of 3 times in the whole month I tested it all out, and I had to do a super finicky process of switching the power supply on at just the right time (when the NVME to TB3 got power) so that the 3070 would initialize. Without the finicky initialization procedure, the card would just be black, no rainbows. I got some suggesstions that it might be a settings issue with USB 4 in the BIOS, so I changed the settings. I forgot to have common sense and changed all the settings at once, then was greeted with a laptop that wouldn’t POST anymore. All the lights turn on, all the ports do basic USB (as far as I can test, machine won’t POST) but due to the issue I now don’t have a working machine and need a new mainboard. Hopefully this goes to someone who can fix it, as I don’t know anyone with the tools to fix what I believe is a USB 4 firmware/settings issue.
RAM has been with the board since purchase (not included) SSDs have been upgraded, all from working machines with good, healthy drives (checked using crystal disk info) Battery had some health reporting issues but were fixed thanks to some nice guys on the framework discord (rip)
