For some reason zoom (both web and the official desktop software) my mic input sound robotic. I’d like to solve this as I need to use Zoom all the time. I hope this isn’t a hardware problem, but even after trying to update everything, it still sounds choppy. Any ideas on how to solve this?
I think this problem exists on almost all distros. It also depends on whether you’re on pulseaudio or pipewire. Caz pipewire usually a newly developed driver so you might experience issues on it.
I just came across this article about an updated PipeWire that fixes Zoom sound issues. Any chance you can try it out?
Hmmm, I didn’t see an update for it via apt, should I do anything manually?
And yeah, I’m using pipewire.
