Do you have any microphones or sound devices? If so I found that I had to disable the AMD audio-coprocessor as per this thread: http://community.frame.work/t/solved-usb-audio-problems-with-framework-16/60636
I narrowed down the issue to my external web cam, and found that the fix in this tread solved my issues.
