Hi, I am recent owner of FW Laptop. 13. It is a great little device, but It cant play video when on HDMI or USB-C connected to external monitor.
I have an AMD 7040U version and a standard set of expansion cards in correct slots. Do you have any idea, what might be the issue?

I am facing the same issue (connecting via usb c). However, in my case it was working earlier. There was a windows update and since then its just a black screen on youtube and every other video streaming window.
Additionally, after disconnecting from the monitor, video does not immediately work even on the laptop screen; I have to restart to make it work again.
Same spec laptop as OP. Running windows 11, update took place 2 days ago.

[FIXED] disabling AMD Audio CoProcessor solved the issue. Device manager > System Devices>AMD Audio CoProcessor and diable + restart
so relieved.
Well, It is a temporary fix. I hope a permanent solution will come out soon.
