2nd Gen FW16 Parts

I see there is quite a few new 2nd gen parts now listed for the FW16 in the store. I thought it would be good to compile a list of differences:

  • Keyboards, Numpad, Macropad - Refreshed Artwork, Updated firmware to prevent wake from sleep while closed.
  • Display - Updated firmware that supports G-Sync
  • Graphics Module 7700S - Improved fans and shell. Now using PTM7950 thermal pad
  • Graphics Module RTX 5070 - New graphics module for 2025.
  • Wifi 7 Module - Included on 2025 refresh.
  • Top Cover - A new CNC aluminum structure for enhanced rigidity.
  • Webcam (2nd Gen) - Previously available seperately but now included as default on 2025 refresh.

I think that is everything.

You’re missing the new RTX 5070. That’s on there. There’s also the 240W power supply. I did notice that the Wi-Fi 7 that was announced with the new FW16 didn’t seem to be on there.

I was looking at parts that already existed on the 1st Gen Framework 16 but yes these are 2nd Gen parts too.

Ah I see what you’re saying. Gen 2 of parts and not parts of FW16 gen 2. Would you consider gen 2 webcam to be on this list even though it has been out and available for a while?
