Hi I have been waiting for months on the restock of the 61Wh battery for the FW 13. I can’t find any conversation around this and usually items aren’t out of stock longer then a few weeks. Are we really never gonna get it back?
I would suggest sending an email to support and see if they can either help you get one or at the very least give you an ETA. I suspect FW might be holding them back until they can get updated BIOS out for all models that includes the battery extender code.
I wonder if they made a design modification to the 61W version after seeing the swelling issues. While the BIOS battery feature might help mitigate the situation, it may not be a true fix. So, maybe an improved 61W is coming. Just a guess on my part.
