Adding a Thread radio with u-blox maya-w2

Hi,

I’d like to use my framework 13 12th gen mainboard as a home server for home -assistant and would love to add a Thread Radio so that it can be a Thread Border Router.

I found the u-blox MAYA-W2.
Can I expect it to work with the framework board? Anyone tried?

If you look at the datasheet, these have an SDIO or UART (and SPI for radio) interface. If those aren’t routed to the M.2 slot, as I believe is not the case, that card will not work. Consult the mainboard datasheet/schematic to check what it supports.

Thank you, it seems like the SPI is the important missing piece here.
