Random question!
I was browsing through CrowdSupply and ran into this really interesting device.
- Would this fit where the current fingerprint reader is on the Framework laptop?
- It seems to have an I2C interface, so I’m wondering if it would actually be possible to swap in this device for the built-in fingerprint reader. It probably would have to be disassembled from the housing and such (and would likely have to rewire certain things), but I’m just curious if this would actually be possible…
[edit] Alternatively, could just purchase the chip they’re using. Still…would this be possible to integrate?
