Am I seeing this wrong, or is there no SATA slot?

I really like having two drives, an NVME to boot from, and a sata drive for more storage. It looks like framework doesn’t have space for sata?

Correct, there is no SATA. Simply no space for something like that this small+thin of a laptop. Storage on the Framework Laptop means one M.2 NVMe, plus whatever you plug in via the USB-C ports.

If you want additional storage options without something fully external, note that Framework does offer 250GB and 1TB storage expansion cards, and there’s also the microSD card expansion option.
