Am I the only one using Arch still having issues with the AI 370?

Which Linux distro are you using?
Arch

Which release version?
(if rolling release without a release version, skip this question)

(If rolling release, last date updated?)
Today
Which kernel are you using?
Mainline v6.15rc7
Which BIOS version are you using?
3.03
Which Framework Laptop 13 model are you using? AMD Ryzen™ AI 300 Series

It has just locked up on me twice in 10 minutes. I just don’t trust it any more. I do Android development and I don’t trust flashing a kernel or factory image only to have it interrupted. There’s nothing in the logs at all pointing to any errors.

This is more of a rant I guess. It’s just so frustrating.

You are using an rc kernel. You might want to try a kernel considered “stable”, like the LTS or standard arch kernel.

I wouldn’t recommend an LTS kernel for the very new ryzen AI series… No bad experience on my side, just an assumption.

But using an RC kernel, I presume you have set up a way to get the crashed kernel log/backtrace with symbols, what does that give?

What do you mean by “locked up”?

Did the machine recover, needed a manual reboot or even reset/rebooted itself without user interaction? When did the machine lock up, i.e. where you playing a video, did you resume from suspend or was the machine perhaps idling while this happened?
