Am I the only one who needs to re-plug hdmi/displayport extensions on random occasions?

I noticed that since day one my external screen either on DP or HDMI will go blank and the only fix is to pull it out (the extension itself) and after rep-lugging it works again?

This happens with three different monitors on different cables?

I’m running Frame work 16 AMD 300 with NVIDIA5070. Latest bios, latest drivers and W11 updated fully. The same issue happens with Fedora 43/44.

Is this me using the wrong ports? Are my extensions faulty?

Anyone experienced something similar?

Not sure if I have the same problem as you, but I’ve generally dealt with issues similar to this across multiple devices, screens, cables, adapters, and etc.
