AMD BIOS 3.07: Adaptive battery charge limit not working?

I recently updated to BIOS 3.07 on my Framework 13 AM (7840) with the new adaptive battery charge limit. However, even though the laptop is always connected to power while using, it always charges to 100%.

Does the reset also occur, if the power is disconnected while being off? That would explain it, since I usually stow away my laptop when I don’t use it (i.e. with the power disconnected).

Also, the “Battery charge limit” setting does not seem to have any effect, when the “Battery Extender” is enabled. Even though I set the limit to 90%, the laptop always charges to 100%. But may be this is by design? i.e. the “Battery charge limit” only applies, if the “Battery Extender” is disabled?

3.08 BETA was meant to fix the issue but it looks like an additional bug was identified when using battery charge limit & battery extender together:

I see, so that’s the Battery Charge limit accounted for. But what about the Battery Extended functionality? It seems to never come into effect for me.
