AMD with USB4 has appeared ... getting closer, now we wait

Sharing some good news. This last week, articles started appearing the AMD Ryzen 6000 mobile chipset with USB4 Thunderbolt support is appearing in laptops.

I hope that framework is leaning at the forthcoming Zen4 with an RDNA 2 (preferable 3) APU supporting USB4. Doing so could make it the “go-to” laptop for both productivity & mid-range gaming. And if they also have coreboot BIOS, that would be so sweet.

It’s really unfortunate but until AMD sorts out their supply issues, companies trying to find Ryzen 6000 are going to have trouble and that goes double for smaller companies like Framework
