There has been a lot of back and forth about the Zen 5 CPU launch not being as performant between reviewers and AMD. It looks like part of the story is a configuration in Windows. In the upcoming 24H2 release (in the insider release phase right now) this is being improved. Hardware Unboxed did some recent analysis and is seeing significant gains. Varying from nothing to 30%, avg is 10% (for the 40 games they tested) for Zen 4 depending on the game. Since it’s a gaming focused channel, it didn’t cover productivity benchmarks and only really on FPS uplifts. Still since appears to be primarily a scheduler improvement, I can’t imagine it not helping productivity as well.
