If there are any Framework 13 users in the Concord, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill/ etc area, I’d love to buy you a cup of coffee and see one of these computers with my own eyes!
I’m coming over from the Mac world. I’ve used several other PC’s over the years and am finding the feel of the computer makes a much larger difference than I ever would have expected. Would love to get to see one in person, and chat over coffee how you have liked it.

Wish I’d seen this sooner, I was just in the east bay for an annual work trip. Not expecting to be back until October 2024, but if you’re still looking by then, I have a full stable of FW laptops.
Ha ha funny how that works. No worries. I checked Facebook to see if there was an East Bay Framework group there, and there wasn’t much of anything. Then that hunt led me to this forum.

I just got my i1340p FW this week, and I’m in the east bay. Running Qubes OS at the moment, which is running well. We could meet up if you’re still interested. I’m running at native resolution, and for the most part I don’t feel the need to scale (I do increase my font sizes a bit), which is a bit surprising to me, given my not so great vision. Sure do wish it had actual trackpad buttons, and fullsize arrow keys, but I knew that it didn’t and decided to get it anyway.
Just noticed you said WC area - I’m in el cerrito, so not that close to you, but if you don’t mind the trek here then that could work out.
