Hi all. Like many of you, I am tired of forking over thousands to Apple every few years due to lack of upgrade ability. Not to mention the mountains of e-waste, etc etc etc. So after years of being a dedicated Mac user I am switching to Windows. Framework really helped me come to this decision!
I work in the Photography industry jumping between shooting, assisting, DIT, and retouching. I am also looking to dive deeper into the world of video editing and CGI.
The one great thing that Mac has is their retina displays. I don’t expect the Framework 16 to have anything quite like a retina, but I do see a claimed 100% P3 color support which is great for a laptop.
Are there any pro’s out there who have calibrated and tested this claim? How does it LOOK on set, or while working on the go? The creative industries have always been attached at the hip with Apple, but I would love to see that change.
