Personally very excited for the Framework 12.
Long time fan of the Asus EeePC line, starting with the EeePC 700 (original). Since then mostly kept with it, with my newest laptop being the Asus Transformer T101HA. (Mostly stick with the 10’ size). Windows and Linux.
- Linux has a few quirks though with the couple older Asus laptops I got, screen rotated, and acting like the nonexistant function lock is enabled [got workarounds, but rather have something I don’t need to much with].
- Haven’t quite found where I want to go after Asus stopped with the transformer line, but been eyeing to find something in a small/cheap/USB-C line to replace it (I loved it charged over USB (wish it was usb-c and not micro-usb).
- I get the sense this market went to the chromebooks (haven’t explored those yet).
- Loosely was considering the 13, but was wary of the size (and price was out of range. Until this was launched, was going to wait for if they had old stock perhaps).
Been hoping for more nuggets of information on this, so been skimming the forums. But it feels like a great fit to replace the Asus Transformer T101 (with a intel atom processor).
