I’m getting one mainly for using it while travelling for taking notes, watching videos, reading e-books and doing presentations.
Compared to the Framework 13, being more robust and having a touch screen is great.
I considered buying a cheaper tablet instead, but having a full Linux and (mostly) full keyboard convinced me to get the Framework instead.
Adulthood is when sharp edges and no colors
When you get old enough, soft edges and colors start to be appealing again.

It’s almost June. I don’t know when in June the batch 0 units will start shipping, but it’s almost time for some folks’ excitement to ramp up, lol.
The FW12 is a birthday gift to myself and I am unreasonably excited. I’ve steered multiple family members towards Framework, but I haven’t been able to justify spending the money to get one for myself until now.
Batch 1 feels like a long wait at 3+ months, but I’m so stoked.
