Hello,
I just replaced my speakers on my framework 13 with the 80db versions. I though the switch went fine but when I turned my computer on and tried to play music the left speaker doesn’t play any audio and the right one is very distorted and quiet.
I tried switching back to the original speakers and now the problem exists in them as well. I can play audio fine through Bluetooth and headphones but the built in speakers just don’t work.
Does anyone have any thoughts? Thanks!
Check that the speaker pins aren’t bent and that the speaker connector is fully seated.
What should I do if a speaker pin is bent?
Grab a pair of tweezers or a small knife and gently bend back the pins. Your luck will vary depending on how bent the pins are. If you’re not comfortable with that, you should take it to a repair shop and they can help with that/replacing the connector.
