I pre-ordered my FW16 AI 7 300 in September, and my excitement has been uncontainable ever since.
The shipping timeframe is December. I’ve been checking the site daily since the 1st, but I haven’t seen any updates on this batch or anyone else discussing it.
Is anyone else eagerly waiting for news on this batch like I am?

It sounds like Batch 2 are receiving emails. If that is the case, then the shipping dates have slipped somewhat. I had hoped for my batch 7 device by Christmas, but that may have been too optimistic.
Looking at the other threads, I am not so sure that it will arrive in December anymore… Any updates from Framework would be nice, even if it was just saying that it will be delayed.
I got an email update that the payment was processed and cleared on Sunday (14th Dec), my bank account had the payment pending since the Wednesday (10th Dec).
That was two days before I placed my order. My laptop has the 5090, 1x 16 GB ram, and 1TB storage and it is the DIY version though. Does anyone know how much delay would be added to the shipment if the laptop has a 5070?
You can’t get a 5090 but if you are talking about the 5070 we are not sure! They’re pre-release will tell you in the ballpark of when you’ll get it though go to your orders on this website and I’ll tell you when it should ship!
I also got the preparing your batch email, but I haven’t been charged yet for it (my theory is that due to the whole RAM and SSD Shortage, they probably don’t have a lot in stock rn, As well as I think people who got their laptops in now, probably opted to Bring their own ram and SSD. It’s just my theory and do let me know if u did get ur laptop if u opted to purchase the SSD and Ram from Framework)
Ether way I’m hoping to get charged sooner than later (I did also contact support and it said they would email me if anything payment wise went wrong)
and tbf I sound like a broken record about this. But I think it’s a testament to how excited I am about this laptop LMAO
I went with 32GB (2 x 16GB) RAM and the basic 512GB NVMe.
I didn’t opt for the GPU bay module, instead starting with the integrated Radeon 860M.
That will be plenty for the level of gaming I’m aiming to enjoy.
I’m so excited too, my first gaming laptop.
Currently using my partners close to 10 y/o Dell XPS, which struggles in modern games even at low settings.
