My battery cable keeps sliding out, which forces me to open up the laptop and push it back in. I was wondering if anyone else has this issue and has a reasonable fix. Note I’m aware of the issue with bent battery pins and I do not have this issue.
Hm, you’re just using the laptop normally and the connector comes out?
Maybe take pictures the next time it happens. Perhaps something is deformed or damaged in a way that isn’t immediately apparent. Feels odd that its so loose where that can happen.
Do you have a hotglue gun perhaps?
Now hear me out!
Hot glue is used to secure things inside electronics pretty frequently. And it releases when a little rubbing alcohol is applied to it, PCBs have no problem with alcohol. So it works well & is easily removable if or when one needs.
Thanks for the reply and ya I’ll try to post a picture next time it comes out. Unfortunately I don’t have a hot glue gun but sounds reasonable and I’ll look into it.
