Hello, I have an issue with my Bazzite +KDE install where the build in Gdrive option does not work. I am not sure where the issue lies or how to fix it.
This happens after I normally log into google and give all the premissions to KDE online for the KDE KIO connect platform build into bazzite.
Linux Distro used: Bazzite 42 + KDE plasma 6.4.4
I am using an FW 12 with the I5 13th gen intel core with 48 GB ram and 1 TB SSD.
Solutions already tried:
I found a possible fix for this issue, however Bazzite doesn’t let me edit the google.service file so I can’t implement the issue. Using the sudo command also does not let me fix edit the file required to see if the issue can be fixed (ofcourse with making a backup of the google drive)
I also tried using Rclone but after I installed Rclone via Bazaar the command to setup up google drive via:
Rclone config
gives me an error that rclone can’t be found. So I am in an bit of an split on how to best proceed. Any help would be appriciated

I’ve found the vast majority of the time services and software allow config overrides and you shouldn’t mess with the default config files even when the OS allows it - a quick search indicates it should be possible to copy /usr/share/accounts/providers/kde/google.provider to ~/.local/share/accounts/providers/google.provider and edit it here.
Thanks for the headsup about the GNOME ID issue. I think I will try to implement the own google API to see how that works out and postt here if it’s solved. (with links and such for others to also solve the issue when I managed to solve it.)
I find it odd tho that rclone while being offered via bazaar doesn’t work on bazzite
